Overview
POE-EX101 is an IEEE802.3af/at compliant Power over Ethernet PoE extender, which allows the PoE network range to be extended to up to 150-250 meters. As sometimes the terminal Powered Device (PD) such as wireless Access Point, network camera or other IEEE802.3 compliant PoE PD have to be installed more than 100 meters away from the Power Source Equipment (PSE) in the communication room, so our POE-EX101 PoE extender could be a cost effective solution to extend the current PoE system by delivering both power and date beyond the range 100m, 150m or 200m.
POE-EX101 PoE extender operates as both PoE PSE (mid-span and end-span) and PoE PD under IEEE802.3af or IEEE802.3at, Alternatively this PoE extender also can be powered by 48-57Vdc power adapter which is used as an PoE PSE or PoE Injector by transmitting power over Ethernet copper wire to power the remote attached PD or cascade connection with another PoE extender or more which are classified and it operates as PSE mid-span. On the other hand, if this PoE extender to be connected to PoE Switch as PSE end-span then it is used as PD and extends the power and data over the Ethernet cable and this PoE Switch must be complying with IEEE802.3at.
This PoE extender POE-EX101 has two different output power pins assignment, they are pins 1/2+, 3/6- and 4/5+, 7/8- switchable as required. With adaptable RJ-45 plug and DC plug, small-size, light-weight, plug and play which make the POE-EX101 PoE Extender flexible and widely used for installation project and working with IP CCTV, VoIP Phone, Portable Device or other compatible device it may require.
